Shipping & Delivery

Our beehives leave the warehouse in mint condition. In transit wooden beehives can become damaged.

We ship your beehives out during business hours -- we typically ship within 24 to 48 hours of when the order was placed. In some cases we do ship your product out on the same day you order it, but if not, you can expect it to be shipped on the following day.

Please note that if you are ordering an assembled product, this may take a little more time.

We use both FedEx and UPS to ship our products, whichever is faster. We ship from central Ohio and on average products take 1 to 5 business days to reach your house.

We try our very best to get your beehives to you as fast as possible.

Depending on your order, at times our beehives can be too large to ship in just one package. For your convenience, we will split large orders into multiple boxes that are easier to carry.

Although all of your packages will have left our facility at the same time, please do not be surprised if they do not arrive at the same time. Shipping companies can sometimes be unpredictable, but rest assured your packages will be there soon. Please check your confirmation email for your tracking number(s).

Please order and assemble your hive well in advanced to the arrival of your bees so you know there will be no issues.

To qualify for free shipping, you must purchase $50 or more in products and live within the contiguous United States (excludes Alaska, Hawaii, & Puerto Rico). If your order doesn't quite hit the $50 mark, we have a number of low cost accessories that can be added to your order.

Love your products. This last time I messed up and ordered unassembled brood boxes. Now I wish that I had done it previously because assembly was so easy and everything fit together perfectly.

I’d give zero stars if I could. This is now the second order Mary arrives with damaged equipment. Every box was either damaged or with really poor quality control that led to massive wax drips and puddles. I have purchased many hives from them and the quality has clearly declined. Customer service was unwilling to replace the damaged boxes because I used them. I sent photos of them damaged and unused but could not wait for them to replace them. My colonies were going to swarm without the extra equipment WHICH IS WHY I ORDERED IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. I will not be ordering from them again.

Put a swarm in each 9” deep brood box!

The box was easy to assemble. Just use a rubber mallet to tap the box together. The frames were easy to assemble also. Definitely recommend wood glue & a small 18 gauge nail gun to assemble the frames if possible. For anyone trying to start a bee hive for the first time. You need an inner & outer lid plus a base for the box to sit on.

Delivery was fast. It was easy to assemble frames and deep brood box with included hardware.

Fantastic quality and I probably will continue to purchase only this type of brood box. My other boxes did not stand up to the weather and were buckling under the pressure of normal frame removal. These have remained strong and kept our bees safe.
